Through international and national competitions like the Vertières Cup and Flag Day Tournament, as well as collaborative projects such as the Équipe Rue Rigaud, FC TORO embodies excellence and innovation in youth sports in Haiti. It creates an environment where young people can not only sharpen their skills but also grow into responsible and engaged citizens.

FLAGDAY TOURNAMENT

FlagDay Tournament is a youth football tournament held under the leadership of FULMOUN PRODUCTION in tribute to Haitian Flag Day. This event brings together teams of talented young players from various regions of the country to celebrate not only their passion for football but also their patriotic spirit and national pride. As a cornerstone of youth development, FC TORO is committed each year to organizing this tournament around May 18, the date marking the creation of the Haitian flag, a symbol of unity and resistance.

During this competition, young athletes are challenged to push their limits while learning the importance of teamwork, discipline, and respect for their opponents. The FlagDay Tournament also serves as a platform for cultural and athletic exchanges, where every participant has the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of an enthusiastic audience of supporters. This initiative contributes to the growth of youth football in Haiti and instills values of solidarity and determination that go beyond the field.

VERTIERES CUP 

Vertières Cup is a flagship football tournament that celebrates the courage and historical legacy of Haiti in tribute to the Battle of Vertières, a pivotal moment in the fight for independence. Organized by FULMOUN PRODUCTION, the 2nd edition of this tournament will bring together the country’s most promising young athletes, offering a unique platform where sports competition and patriotism intertwine: #FOOTTOURISM #FOOTCULTURE.

This edition aims to welcome teams from different regions, allowing young players to test their skills while fostering teamwork and national pride. The tournament also serves as a springboard for identifying and supporting emerging talents, promoting their integration into advanced training programs.

Vertières Cup provides the community with an opportunity to come together and celebrate a historic date in a vibrant and festive setting.

RUE RIGAUD

RUE RIGAUD created in July 2024, Équipe Rue Rigaud is a semi-professional team dedicated to developing young football talents. This innovative program is the result of a dynamic collaboration between FICA (Football Inter Club Association) from the North and FC TORO, combining their expertise and resources to provide growth opportunities for passionate young players.

Supported by local small businesses and the Rue Rigaud community in Pétion-Ville, this team embodies the spirit of solidarity and local mobilization. For its first season, Équipe Rue Rigaud participated in the Coupe Mario Brutus, a highly regarded regional tournament, proudly reaching the Round of 16. This experience allowed young players to compete at a higher level, fostering their development and strengthening their resilience on the field.

By showcasing local talent and creating synergies with community stakeholders, the Rue Rigaud project aims to become a benchmark in youth training and engagement, inspiring future generations to believe in their abilities and strive for excellence.

INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENTS

On the international stage, FC TORO has distinguished itself by participating in several prestigious tournaments such as the POTOMAC Championships in Washington D.C., the Disney Presidents Day Soccer Festival in Orlando, the Hispaniola Cup in the Dominican Republic, and the Torneo Internacional Vall d'Uixó in Spain. In this last competition, our U15 team achieved a memorable victory against FC Barcelona’s elite team, winning 1-0. FC TORO has also collaborated in the Special Olympics in Dubai and Orlando.

Thanks to these international experiences, FC TORO has brought home numerous trophies and medals, earning the reputation of being one of the most remarkable and admired teams in these tournaments: "The Haitian Sensation."

Our young players, proud representatives of the Haitian flag, have captured the attention of the global youth football community, showcasing their talent, discipline, and determination. This international recognition reinforces our commitment to developing young athletes by providing them with unique opportunities to shine on the world stage.
